A Brookwood Feast
The annual Harvest Thanksgiving Dinner is a highlight for many here in the parish. The parish gathers at the Camp (where in the summer children come to have fun and draw nearer to their Saviour). What follows in just one reason why Brookwood is so very important, and why we need the Camps Capital Campaign.
This year we had the dinner at 6:00 pm and the fixin's were turkey, squash, mashed potatoes, stuffing, pickles, gravy, and pies of all sorts! Over 110 came out, both young and old to enjoy a parish thanksgiving with their family in Christ Jesus. We ended the night with a traditional sung service of Compline.
Here are some scenes of our fellowship; Jesus said that he came to give us life and have it abundantly.
Like the Coast, men gather outside and chat

Before dinner there was a chance to catch up and meet new parishioners.

The food was outstanding as was the effort of many in the ACWs and Guild

The Dinning Hall was packed

Some of the children rounded out the evening with a jump on a truck ?!
