pastorpainter dot com is simple to remember. Don't make it complicated, or long
Indeed, but please note that the site given is only a mock up. If adopted www.pastorpainter.com would remain and the main HTML files would be replaced with this format. So the website name would stay the same and the look would change.
Blogger is limited, simple, but limited. Wordpress is better, but I also wish to cut my time online down, or make it more efficient.
With that said so is .mac and iWeb limited.... albeit pretty, the greatest limitation and the one preventing me from jumping in head long is the reality that I can not blog on the road unless I get a mac notebook.
At present the main reason to switch format is in order to create a 2.0 website with a better interface and thus ease of interaction (KISS). It is also to cut my computer time in half by making everything easy to upload and configure. I also with to use video blogging and podcasting (interviews or discussions on current Anglican topics). It's all about form and function and the two must go hand in hand.
The jury is still out and ultimately I will choose what is easiest for me and easiest for those who read, watch or listen. It most certainly wont be long, complicated or ugly :-)
