The Third Sunday in Advent

Pink / Rose Sunday, Gaudate or Joyful Sunday if you will: Rejoice! It's a bit of a break from the austere, penitential, time of Advent. Pink is also used one other time and that is the middle Sunday during Lent, marking the halfway point.

One day I'll get a pink stole to wear over my plain white chasuble to mark the day.

So it's going to be stormy, very stormy. How much snow? Does it matter at this point. So in the interest of those I love and shepherd I have decided not to place any added stress and postpone the Carol Service to Dec. 30th at 11 AM at St. Barnabas, Greenfield. Following the service a reception will be held at the Rectory.
