Triduum

Tonight marks the beginning of the Triduum, the great three days. Maundy Thursday we recall the inaguration of the Lord's Supper, a day of great thanksgiving, hense the reason why we call the liturgy the Eucharist (Gk meaning to give thanks). Tomorrow is Good Friday, the day our Lord gave himself over to attone for our sins, to be our advocate, and to redeem us. Saturday we celebrate the first hope of EASTER in the evening after Evensong, when we antisipate the Lord's resurrection in the breaking of the bonds of death and his freedom from the tomb.

Answer to Our Prayers...

Remember a few months ago a young parishioner, expecting twins, who had a great scare...? I got this great news:

"I am not sure if any one let you know yet but Kathy had her babies
today. Both mother and babies are doing really well. One baby was
around 6 pounds and the other one was a little over 5 pounds."
