Twins Shower

What a great morning as many arrived at the Church of the Good Shepherd to celebrate the arrival of "the Twins"; yes those same twins we prayed for. It was wonderful!

Today at 3:30 pm AST Barcelona and Arsenal (a North London team) will play in Europe's greatest club event. This will be a great game. Join me on TSN (basic cable users will get this channel) in Canada. Watch for the two best players in the world, Brazil's Ronaldinho and France's Tierry Henry.

LIVERPOOL wins FA CUP 2006

The "Reds" won the Champions league last year and it was frankly a great suprise. This year much was expected of them. They were playing West Ham United (The Hammers). But in a game I didn't watch, rent for $24.99, I missed one of the most exciting games in recent history. I didn't rent it because, like many, I thought it would be a blow out for Liverpool. WOW was I wrong. It ended 3-3 and went to penalties.

Soon we will turn to the World Cup. Be prepared for blow by blow heavenly pundantryas I vacillate on the "Beautiful Game." Oh boy I'm excited. June 9th!!!! The World will be glued to TV's for one whole month. If you think the Olympics are the World event... no way: This is!

The 5th Sunday of Easter

Here's the bulletin: Easter5BMay142006.pdf

Why so Quiet?

Hummmm a good question. The flu has been circling around the house this past week and a half and I got yet another bad dose on Sunday. I did some work this week but really had no energy for anything. Once again I have slept in, and once again I find myself eating tons of yogurt for my bowels... (enough said).

Keep us all in your prayers. I exhausted myself yesterday with an eye appointment and then the trek to get a pair of glasses; $900 later, I will soon be the proud owner of "progressive" lenses. Yes folks, I need bi-focals!!! Eghads, this age thing does take effect.
