An Anglican Church Camp, Bristol, N.B. 2009

Camp Brookwood is an Anglican Church camp located in the heart of New Brunswick’s finest woodlands. It sits on 25 acres of beautiful land, where campers are encouraged to know God through many natural wonders experienced though Camp.

The program includes swimming in the pool, recreation, hiking, handicrafts, Christian Education, games, special events and campfires etc. While at the camp, instruction is offered in swimming and water safety.

Campers live in cabins that hold seven people plus a responsible counselor. There is a maximum of 28 campers per week. There is no smoking on camp property. There is a Chaplain for each week, which looks after spiritual instruction, arranges worship and generally oversees the spiritual life of the camp.

Sunday June 28 6:00pm – Friday July 3 7:00pm “CIT Training Week 14-17 year olds”
(Cit’s turning 16 years by July 2009 or completed Grade 10 will be place in one or two of the following weeks of Camp if they receive the Certificate at the end of the week.)

Sunday July 5, 6:00pm – Friday July 10, 7:00pm “8-11 year olds (Ending Grade 2 - Grade 5)
(Freshman Camp)

Week Three- the Rev. Douglas Painter, Chaplain
Sunday July 12, 6:00pm – Friday July 17, 7:00pm “12-14 year olds (Ending Grade 6- Grade 8)
(Sophomore Camp)

Week Four- Rev. Greg McMullin-Chaplain

Sunday July 19, 6:00pm – Friday July 24, 7:00pm “7-9 year olds” (Ending Grade 1- Grade3)
(Rookie Camp, first time campers)

Week Five- Rev. Chris VanBuskirk-Chaplain

Sunday July 26, 6:00pm – Friday July 31, 7:00pm “15-17 year olds” (Ending Grade 9 - Grade 12)
(Senior Camp)

Week Six- the Rev. Chris Hayes, Chaplain
Sunday August 2, 6:00pm – Friday August 7, 7:00pm “8-11 year olds” (Ending Grade 2 – Grade 5)
(Freshman Camp-This camp will include a server program for the children)

Week Seven- T.B.A.
Sunday August 9, 6:00pm – Friday August 14, 7:00pm “12-14 year olds” (Ending Grade 6 – Grade 8)
(Sophomore Camp)

Cost:

$180 per week that includes Camp T-shirt, photo and tuck money, this includes the $30 non-refundable registration cost.

ARRIVAL: All campers register on the Sunday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm (after supper)

DEPARTURE: All camps are finished by 6:00pm on the Friday. Campers will need to be picked up between 6:00pm and 7:00pm.
